None by post. You'll have to go for an interview with a consular official.
As Artemis says you will have to have an official interview, usually at the American Embassy in London.
Even if you do then reach America, they could still turn you away.

how many of you have been asked by a US immigration official at the airport in the USA if you have had a conviction. None i presume.

so there goes. turn up and say you are on a holiday. None the wiser.
