A friend of mine recently travelled back to the UK from Fuerteventura but unfortunately left his iPad in the airport. The airport has been contacted & they have confirmed that they are in possession of it, but my friend's having problems trying to transport it back here .... he's tried contacting a few couriers without any success - has anyone out there had a similar problem & can suggest a solution please ... We left a kindle on a flight and it was held safety at Gatwick lost property. I paid over the phone for them to post it to our house. Was very simple and must be the way it's done all the time. Call them back.

It's the Spanish airport that's saying 'we've got it - come & collect it'...
Why wouldn`t the couriers touch it - was it because of the battery?
Is the ipad worth more than the postage / courier costs ?

My daughter left her daughter's soft toy in a New York hotel. The hotel were happy to return it Fed Ex, however it cost them a fortune because they were also charged import duty once it arrived in the UK. Surely if he is willing to cover the costs, one of the companied like Fed Ex, UPS should be able to carry it.
