Going to London thinking of using a travel card a day one if say I purchase it at Euston at 1pm on a Saturday does it run out 1pm on the Sunday or might purchase it online which it says you can use before 4-30 the next day is this correct very confused

They are not 24 hour travel cards. They last for a day. It reads to me from the attached that the day starts at 4:30 am and finishes at 4;30 am the next day

So whether you purchase at 5 am, 1pm or 5pm for example it will always expire at 4.30 am the following morning
if you have a contactless credit or debit card, just use that. the fares available are the same as are available with an oyster card.

Not quite, the day starts at midnight 00:01 am but the card is valid into the early hours of the following day for journeys starting before 04:30 am.
