Going on foot is the best way to get around Rome.  It would take you about 30-45 minutes if you just walked, and not stopping at all to see anything. (Are you fit? Old/young?) The footpaths are quite narrow and the traffic is dreadful so that will slow you a bit more.  But you will see loads of things on the way, so many interesting, beautiful buildings, little streets with interesting shops and lots of cofee shops (bars) where you can stop off for a pick-me-up. Watch your bags though, the pickpockets are something else in that city, specially on the number 64 bus!

Actually, a nicer way would be to go via the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, not as direct but still great.

1 hour 25 minutes.

I thought the distance by foot was the same as other modes of transport. Oh you meant how long it takes, silly me.
The distance by foot is not the same as the distance by bus. Fact.(I kid not).
