Lovely town with lovely atmosphere. Right on the coast, looks West over the wash so you get great sunsets. Very flat so great for walking and a lovely coast round there (the North Norfolk coast is almost one long nature reserve)
Two long distance footpaths there, North Norfolk path and Pedlars Way. See here:

I went to North Norfolk for the first time this year and fell in love with it.
And this was the B&B we stayed in, wonderful.

Front rooms look right over the sea.
Another North Norfolk town that DOES have a railway station is Sheringham. See here

This is on the North coast rather than Hunstanton that is on the West, but the North Norfolk coastal path runs right through the town.
There are some lovely towns, villages, pubs and beaches all along the North Norfolk coast, and it is completely unspoilt. Lots of bird sanctuaries, and you can see Seals nearby.
A few National Trust properties, as well as the North Norfolk steam railway http://www.nnrailway.co.uk/
Country Walking magazine featured Sheringham a couple of issues ago.
(I know I sound like a person from Norfolk tourist board, but in fact I live in Birmingham, I just found North Norfolk to be so quiet and unspoint, like England used to be 30 years ago).
