cheers lucky,

theres 3 of us,all male, probably go to a show or two,can anyone advise on safety?price?conduct?etc etc ,tanx

Three males in Bangkok - welcome to paradise! Women will literally throw themselves at you - all for a small fee....

I went with my wife and another couple to see a two-hour show in a bar called 'The King's Castle' in Patpong 1. Safety was not a problem - this bar was even recommended in our Lonely Planet guide! It was free entrance, and bottles of Singha beer were only 70 baht (about 1) each. Tricks were the usual - bananas, ping pongs, darts, ribbon, eggs, etc., etc. It then went a bit down hill with razor blades and needles on string. Once you've seen it, it stays seen, and don't go with any expectations of it being erotic!

Patpong is quite tourist orientated - for the real sleaze hit Nana Entertainment Plaza (NEP) or Soi Cowboy. Safety wise, I don't know about either of these areas, because I didn't visit.

Conduct wise, again, I was on my best behaviour as my wife was sitting beside me!! I don't know what you're into, but as a wise man once said, treat others like you would like them to treat you, and you should be just fine.
