Esta Application Help!

I was online filling in the applications when my phone rang with work. I then went to continue the application and it had timed out and logged off! At same time I get an email with a group ID number and a link to check the status of my application (which I haven’t finished) but when I enter the details it says there is no application. So do I just start all over again?? There’s absolutely no number to ring and speak to anybody and I don’t want to mess it up. And no option to continue what Ive started.

start again....if you time out without saving it it doesn't save. Its a very forgiving program, I have done it for my sister.

if you didn't finish it, there's no application, I suppose. I'd just start over (and leave the phone off the hook).

I just don’t want somehow two application to appear as having been started and raise queries, but seems as I definitely didn’t click submit the only thing I can do it start again? fingers crossed x

if you apply for a new Esta it simply overrides any previous one still in force anyway.

Ok I’ve just done it again and paid. It now says -“your travel authorisation is under review as an immediate determination could not be made........ let you know within 72 hours blah blah....” . That doesn’t sound good??

it normally takes that long doesn't it?

No apparently it can be approved immediately.

Apparently the response is quite normal - esp give the current climate.

A friend of mine recently got her application approved within 5 hours

Ahh ok. Just panicking now I’ve paid for the holiday!

Can depend, OH was told the same as you then it came through in an hour or so, mine went through straight away. The worst part is that you don't get a print-out, just the application number and at the airport last time we went the check-in staff were going into the back office to check everyone's ESTA, a little nerve-wracking.

I cannot check to see if an e-mail was sent out but if you don't hear anything today why not leave it over the weekend and check for yourself?

No leave it a day go in check and then print it off. Although we have never been asked for it all the times we have been to the USA

It’s funny coz on the form it gives you the option to put down your social media sites and I thought good god, you don’t want to see what I put on FB sometimes! Lol
