Anyone been? I am thinking of organising a trip in the spring and would like others thoughts.

I plan to go next year too. Several of my friends have been and say it's well worth a visit.

I've been on a private tour so may have seen more than the standard one. I found it absolutely fascinating and very definitely worth a visit.

I went about four years ago and found it most interesting. Since then it has been expanded so it should be even better, I'm hoping to return next year.

Try to avoid all those ruddy roundabouts in Milton Keynes though!

Like many places you can skip round it in a couple of hours. However if you want to absorb some of the huge amount of information available there on what is a very fascinating subject, then allow all day.

You could easily make it two visits. There is heaps to see, lots of exhibits. I thought I'd take my sons for an hour or so, but we saw such a small proportion that we had to come back another day. We persuaded my father, against his inclination, to go, too, since he had been in the war. He never expected to like it, but in the end he was quite moved, and many memories came back to him. That was a bit before his dementia set in, so we were pleased he had enjoyed such a treat while he still could.
