Orsett, Essex Lodgings?

Family members with tiny baby (3 months old now) going to a wedding in Orsett end of April.
Having great difficulty in finding somewhere to stay/rent?
Any suggestions??

The only hotel actually in Orsett appears to be Orsett Hall. It’s a very small place. Lots within a 5/6 mile radius:

As Zac said, it's very small. There's a Premier Inn - Basildon South, about 5 miles from Orsett

With a tiny baby I think they would prefer a rented accommodation but your suggestions are a good backup.

If you put a search in on Booking.com there were lots of options, going out a few miles from Orsett, including Brentwood and other areas.

I found this on Airbnb. It looks like it's about 3 miles from Orsett, though that's a guestimate.

Jays Lodge looks like it might be the best option for your needs.

It's only about three quarters of a mile from Saint Giles and All Saints Church in Orsett. All 30 reviews on TripAdvisor (including those from people who were staying there to attend local weddings) praise it:

You choose whether to book B&B or just take the 'room only' rate and then use the mini kitchen facilities provided. It's cheap as well!
