Emigrating to Australia

We're thinking of moving to Australia. Does anyone know how much you have spent so far to do this or expecting to pay? We've heard from a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) that they've spent �10,000 to do this.

I don't know what the costs are I guess it depends on what you want to take with you.

I do know there's a points system to get a vis based on things like your age, education, job you do etc.

There are lots of consultancies who'll probably charge you an arm and a leg to get you a visa but if you've not already done so I'd start with the Australian Governments site here:
