Which Hemisphere of the planet contains the most countries, is it the Northern Hemisphere or the Southern Hemisphere?

If you look at a globe, you will see that there is much less of everything (apart from water) in the southern hemisphere.

And you'd be right, Philg; it's the northern by far. The equator cuts through 12 countries, so they may be considered both northern and southern. There are 148 countries solely in the northern hemisphere and 33 solely in the southern.
