Has Anyone Been To Teruel, Spain, By Public Transport?

I’m going to be spending a week in Valencia, and I have always wanted to visit the ruins of Teruel. I understand that bus/train only goes to the ‘new’ town, and that I would have to take a taxi onwards to the old one.
I’d prefer not to hire a car.
Anyone have any experience of this ‘expedition’ ?
Chris??

It might be worth reading some reviews on trip advisor. Might be some mention of getting there on some of the reviews

Thanks everyone. I had given up on getting an answer.
Should have persisted.
Finding it a bit of a nightmare. Don’t want to drive, but really difficult by public transport. May go, and stay overnight.
But again thanks.

Thanks Zack, had looked into this, and while I don’t mind the 5 hour round trip (!) I would have got no sooner there, than I had to come back.
I guess it will just be one of those things that I never got to do.
