anyone visited there? Is it suitable for a family holiday with young children?

I've been several times. They have everything from sunny beach resorts to mountain ski places. Obviously depends on what you want - the beaches are clean, the locals friends (and SO many speak English) and the mountain air is beautiful. Have a great time

Thanks for your answer. We looked into a package that was really interesting. It involved visiting farms and staying with locals. It included a few trips aswell to Bucharest and the 'Dracula' castle. It's on the back burner a bit now due to finances but we'll hopefully look into it again next year. Looks like a beautiful country in the brochures. Thanks again.
