Bath is impressive but you won't need a week to see it. You can visit most of the sights worth a look in a day. Royal Crescent and The Circus have impressive architecture; the Roman Baths are worth a visit; the old Bathe Green Park railway station is now an indoor market; if you want a view of the entire city take a stroll (or a bus) to the top of Alexandra Park where you will get a panoramic view.

Thank you both. Very good data on which I can lay a plan.
It certainly appears a very attractive city;I'm looking forward to taking some photographs.
Thank again.
The river trips and guided bus tours ( hope on hop off ) are worth doing. June should be lovely. Lots of small independent shops too.
There is much to appreciate about Bath, and I recommend the sightseeing bus tour on day one for a complete overview of the city and its wonderful architecture.

On other days we really enjoyed the museums in Bath, dont miss a visit to number 1, The Crescent, or the Jane Austen Centre, Roman Baths of course, and there are a couple of really good art galleries too.

Follow the path alongside the Kenet and Avon canal from the Holbourne Museum through Sydney Gardens, its beautiful.

Enjoy the architecture and the river view at Pulteney Bridge, and call into the cafe opposite for a Bath Bun.

You could go horseracing at Bath Racecourse, or go to the theatre at Bath Theatre Royal, or take a day trip to Wells or Cheddar Gorge.
Bath is where the Royal Photographic Society has it's HQ. They normally have at least one exhibition running and often more.
