I can't decide!

4/5 nights for my mother and me, we like history, architecture and foreign cuisine.

Which would you recommend, and can you suggest a nice hotel near the centre of town that does a decent breakfast.

Ljubljana and Riga would be alternative choices.

Thanks.

taxis used to be cheap and relatively safe!
check out the Costes Dowtown (its sister has a M star). the Déryné Bistro, Babel and the Gerbeaud Café....and that's for starters!

I think Prague has won it for me, on the basis that I can do day trips to Vienna and Dresden from there. Also Cesky Krumlov and Karlovy Vary look like interesting day trips.

I might save Budapest for when I go to Baku, as it's one of the main connecting points to Azerbaijan.
We loved Prague, stayed at Hotel Rott, 5 minutes from the Astronomical Clock and a short walk to the Charles Bridge and the Castle, I can't recall how much it was, we wanted to be handy for the Christmas markets.

I've booked 5 nights in Prague next May, therefore I would be grateful for recommendations where to eat, drink and what to see and do.

Thanks peeps.
