Luxury Hotel?

Can any ABers recommend a good hotel in Yorkshire? Hubby and I are thinking of treating ourselves over the New Year, I have done some searching on the web and luxury hotels are very expensive. We dont mind paying a lot if the hotel is good, but sometimes you find yourself paying a fortune and then being disappointed. We particularly love good food. Any ABers stayed for a New Year celebration in a nice hotel? Thanks in advance.

Try The White Swan at Pickering, North Yorkshire. Wonderful accom and food/wine. Great beer in the tiny bar, super staff. Small, friendly, cosy ex-coaching inn. Been many a time and always hate to leave.
