how does an aircraft door work? its open, on the outside of the fuselage, is then pulled though the frame then pushed into position and locked! how does the door go though the hatch ?

There are double hinges on the doors - they slide through the gap sideways on one set of hinges and then spin on the other set so they can be fitted against the frame.
