Thanks youngmaf, but he is five, can someone just tell me how I pay?
Just use any debit or credit card (contactless) to tap in just as you would with an Oystercard. Costs the same.
Cash ?
I believe all London buses are now cashless.
In my experience London bus drivers have no interest in whether you pay.
For the purposes of travelling on buses with my mother I was 4 till I was about 8.
No you don't pay for him on bus or tube
Not sure about sightseeing bus can't remember
Oh I didn't know that jackdaw ..
No payment for child under 11 on London Transport
Cash has not been accepted on London's buses since July 2014.
You just get on. You don`t have to tap anything for them. Kids can get Zip Oyster cards for free travel but they only use those if they are travelling alone and not with an accompanying adult.
You can try showing your travelcard to the driver, but he won't be interested.
