Got tickets for this tomorrow but unfortunately The Pier had sold out. Anyone know of a pub or somewhere with outdoor seating where we could sit and watch this? We will be arriving earlyish. Thank you

Last time I went it didn’t really matter where you were, anywhere along the front gave a decent enough view.
It was when the twin Lancasters flew together for the final time and ended with the Vulcan.

I live in Southport and we go every year.My advice is to buy a ticket to get you onto the beach for a fantastic view.Red Arrows coming at 4pm!

The Guelder Rose is on Marine Drive, almost opposite the pier, with tables on the front lawn:
