Probably no more than a couple of quid (which, in many parts of the country, will only get you a couple of stops). Service 12 is run by Travel West Midlands. Although their normal off-peak maximum fare of �1.20 won't apply on this route (because it's outside the West Midlands boundary) you can travel all day on TWM buses for �3, so it's probably around �2 for the journey of approx 25 mins between Warwick Uni' and Royal Leamington Spa.

Service U1 is run by Stagecoach Midland Red. Stagecoach generally charge some of the highest fares in the country but, where they're in direct competition with a firm like TWM, they're unlikely to charge a fare which is significantly (if at all) higher than that of their competitor.

Could be worth trying Chiltern Railways - off peak return is �15.50 (walk up and buy) or on 2 trains a day there is a single fare of �5 bookable on the Chiltern web site only. It's to Birmingham but is valid intermediately
