I don't currently have a credit or debit card and want to book a couple of flights, is there any way of doing this does anyone know?

I thought maybe I could do this by paying cash into the airlines or travel agents bank, is this possible?

Thanks for any help.

Suggest asking whoever you are hoping to pay as to what options they accept.

Travel Agent or airport ticket counter.

Paying cash may invoke someone taking a look at you!

I don't think airlines have accepted cash for flight payments for years. I've no idea if a travel agent would either.

You could create a PayPal account and pay for the flights with that - and participating locations will take cash to load into your PayPal account.

It's pretty unheard of not to have a bank card unless one is bankrupt, I assume that also means you don't have a bank account either.

You definitely cannot pay in cash at an airline ticket counter in the UK.

Maybe set up a Payapal account or get a prepaid card to use.

Google this: "Paying for flights without a credit card"

Plenty of advise/options comes up.

All the advice from that google search suggests things already listed on this thread.

Saintpeter hasn't returned to the thread yet, what airline are you using? The following do NOT accept cash as payments for flights (I've checked):

Easyjet, Ryanair, BA

Back in 1995 I holidayed in Barbados and met a young married couple who were staying at the same hotel.

I was surprised to find that neither held a credit card and asked how they managed to book things such as car hire/flights/hotel/holidays etc – the answer was that one of their mothers’ did that on their behalf.

Whilst I’m old school and pay for most items less than £100 in cash, life would be difficult without a credit card – I’m now forced to have a mobile phone in order to complete two method authentication on many transactions.

Without buying things on-line, you are missing out on the ‘best price’ on so many purchases.
