Can anyone please verify that there is a place called Symington in Scotland. I think it's south of Edinburgh. My husband and I stayed there one Christmas in 1980, but he can't remember it.

The answer is yes - possibly more than one. It finds quite a number but some may be duplicates

Couple of Symingtons, but you probably want the one just south of Biggar, before the M74.
