I am taking the car over to france on a booze cruise what do i need to do i-e insurance,? adjusting the headlights?what else to i need to do

Make sure that your insurance covers travel abroad - plus ask for a Green Card from your company (and not a copy - always make sure you have originals!).

Plus make sure that you do adjust your headlights - even if you are travelling in daylight, the French Police will pull you (quite heavy on the spot fines). Have a look at one of the motoring association websites - they should have tips and up to date laws (warning triangles, mobile phones in car, spare bulbs etc...).
