Yes yes yes - passport or other photo ID every time you get on a plane. Never seen the ITV programme full of people who didn't read the booking info?

Bristol Glasgow - 26 each way inc tax with BA depending when you travel and how early you book, or check Easyjet online as well. If you can fly from Exeter, BMIBaby do Glasgow at cheap rates, or if a bit flexible, check Cardiff as well as there may be some deals around.

for the identification - check with your airline as to what they will accept. I'm flying air southwest from newquay to leeds in the summer and for that i need one of the following:

a valid passport, an expired passport within 2 years of its expiry date, valid photo driving license, a citizencard, a council-issued photo bus pass, a valid credit card of the person travelling, a valid signed bank card of the person travelling.

So by law you don't need photo ID - but the airlines might want this so you do need to check when you book. Under 13's don't need to provide identification

the law doesn't actually require photo id for internal flights - it is up to the airlines at the moment what they will accept, so you do need to check when booking.

I'm flying from newquay to Leeds in the summer with air southwest, and among other things they will accept a valid credit or bank card, an expired passport (within 2 yrs of expiry), and a council issued photo bus pass.

sorry for repeating...
