Ok, ok i give up, can someone please let me in on the secret..! Just where can i get a cheap flight online??! Im only going from Edinburgh to Cardiff and the prices are just too high! Sheesh

When do you want to go? The trick is to book it as far in advance as possible. The closer it gets to departure, the higher the price goes. Just type "cheap flights" into google and see what comes up.

That would appear to be where im going wrong then because i need to go within the next 3 weeks... I dont understand why flights dont get cheaper the closer you get to the date. There again i dont understand why some flights are so expensive in the first place!

One of the golden rules is to avoid weekends and bank holidays. You've not stated exactly when you wish to travel but here are the current BmiBaby fares for weekdays (0830 flight), from Edinburgh to Cardiff, around the dates you wish to travel:
Mon 03/04: �5.99

Those fares don't seem expensive to me! (There are plenty of cheap, mid-week, fares for the return journey as well).
