Has anyone booked a 'top secret' hotel from the above, i.e. the ones you know the star rating of but only find out the name once you've booked? It's for a two night stay in London, and some of them seem like quite good deals. Does anyone have any expreince of this? Thanks in advance.

I stayed in one near Bank a 4* that turned out to be very good. You can usually work out the hotel by the location......

Yeah, I've been trying to do that. And they all seem quite good, in fact some seem too good, 64% of the actual price, so I was just a wee bitty dubious. Thank you, I might just bite the bullet!

Nah, I chickened out, I wasn't sure I could trust their version of 'a short walk to....', but part of me wishes I had just had the guts to do it! Maybe next time.
