Asia and India

Im leaving Australia in 2 weeks and flying to Bangkok and planning on backpacking around Thailand for a month and then doing Cambodia Vietnam and Laos. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations as to where I should go? After 3 months in Asia heading to India. Backpacker suggestions welcome ! Thanks

I would suggest you buy Lonely Planet - South East Asia on a shoe string. I found it invaluable with great advice on cheap accomodation and eateries. You can't go to Thailand and not visit Phi Phi Island. Has to be one of, if not the most beautiful islands in the world. www.phi-phi.com
