I was once arrested for drunk and disorderly at a footb all match, i was charged and fined and had to go to court, does any know whether this will affect me getting a visa to work in the USA?

Yes it will. At best it will delay the issue of the visa by months while they consider whether to make you an exception. At worst it will be refused altogether.

I hope you get refused!

It will serve you right for the endemic cancer of football yob behaviour that you have contributed to.

bit harsh Simeon - have you never been drunk in public?
I have been drunk in public many times places and countries but the difference is all I want to do is eat a bucket of chicken wings and go to bed not take on the whole world.
there was no mention of fighting, I think you're just jumping to conclusions because it was at a football match.
Whoa boys don't start another world war about whether he should be punished again or not.Have to say I've met some very drunk AND obnoxious Americans in various parts of the world so lets not judge shall we? After all boys (of any age) will be boys and the older they get the worse they get judging by my sons and grandsons!
ok, ok. Sorry. I'm just jealous cos I wanna go get drunk and disorderly, but I don't finish til 5.30 :-(
