my passport runs out in July 06 and i'm travelling to turkey in june 06, will this be ok?

this says it's 'advisable' to have at least six months to go. I don't know what that means, but you might be pushing your luck. Why not give them a call and ask?

It's more than advisable, Turkish authorities will turn you back, it happened to a neighbour last month. Renew now and have a great holiday.

if you do decide to renew, get going pronto, it can take a few weeks
When I went to Turkey last year I was in the same position: went in June and passport expired in July. I was cacking it as I didn't notice till last minute, but luckily everything was OK and we had a lovely time. The turks at Dalaman airport seemed more interested in taking the 20 quid for the visa! I'd get it renewed though, if you've time, just for piece of mind. Have a great holiday x
