Wedding in cuba

We have recently decided that we would like to get married in Cuba, however, when we asked at the travel agents, they said that it is a lengthy and expensive process to get the documentation ready for the marraige, somthing about translating birth certificates into spanish and sending them off to other people for checking out.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how long this takes, the cost involved and any other information that may help?
