Alicante on a budget
I'm going away to Alicante at the end of next month, but for one reason or another, I won't be able to take as much money as I had hoped to. In fact it was touch and go whether I went at all - it had all been paid for, but the money I saved had to be spent on something else, and there is very little time to accrue what I had hoped to take. As someone at work said though, I might as well be skint and in the sun, than skint at home moping because I didn't have a lot of money.
I reckon I may be able to rustle up 250+, but it's self catering for a week. I have no idea of what Alicante is like - is it dear, or are there places where I can get a decent meal and a few beers each day and not worry too much?
