Cheapest flights FROM Banjul, Gambia one way

My mate and I need to fly from Gambia to UK in February 2007. We would consider flight to Paris or somewhere and get train or hire car home, or fly to cheapest European destination and use low-cost airline for last leg back.

However, the only one-way flights I can find on the net are about �800 each. Does anyone know of a cheaper way to fly home? We are in the Plymouth - Banjul challenge, so will leave our car in Banjul to be auctioned for charity (if it gets there!).

only scheduled flight from banjul to europe is with sn brussels, this is probably the flight you can see �800 fares for (although i got a quote for �493).

however since this is for charity, have you considered approaching a holiday charter company for a "special deal"?

Go to the Monarch airlines site or Astaeus.

Also speak to the Gambia Experience travel company they are far and away specialists in this Country.

I think you'll be looking at a couple of hundred.

Thanks Paul22118 Gambia experience got us price of �260. Mushroom25, I think you are right, too, this appears to be spare seats on holiday charter flight. Thanks y'all!
