My girlfriend is staying in Paris at the moment and was hoping to spend a couple of days in Blois.

She has had rotten luck trying to find help (english speaking help) at the tourism booth in regards how to get to Blois.

She has a eurail pass if that is applicable though I get the feeling it is a metro situation.

Also she wants to travel from there to Tours.

How does she get to Tours from Blois and is she able to get from Tours to Rome or does she have to get back to Paris to achieve this?

Thanks for your time.

Gare Austerlitz to Blois - about a 2 hour trip, and another half hour on to Tours.

From Tours back to Paris is one hour on the TGV to Montparnasse

You can avoid Paris from Tours to Rome by going cross country to Lyon but it may be slower.
