Coworker Mad At Me For Keeping A Selfie...

Does anybody know if its crucial to notify in advance cross channel ferry companys if one intends to take a different car to the original car booked for the journey? I now want to take another car with me in August - it will still be in the same booking class - but obviously a different registration number. The terms and conditions say that alterations to bookings will incur a cost of 30-00 which I want to avoid - my presumption is that this refers to changing the date/time of travel rather than the vehicle...what do folk think?
Many thanks

saying that its prob only crucial to tell of changes to the car if you'd be going up a size or adding a roof rack etc...but even that wouldnt incur an amendment fee just the additional price for a bigger car
as an ex travel agent....personally i'd tell them of the change for peace of mind...dont wanna be faffing about at the port. i'd be stunned if they charged you for that
