I booked my honney to Barbadois last year with virgin online. This will be the first time I have travlled with Virgin, and I must say that I am not imprssed so far with their customer services.

I received my tickets last week, but did not receive any documents or certificates for the travel insurance i purchased. I called them straight away and after 15 minutes of trying to make the idiot on the other end understand what I was asking, he promised to get this sent to me.

This morning I received my post, and there was an envelope from Virgin. I opened, only to find a policy outline (basically a shiny A4 pamphlet on what the insurance covers). No certificates, proofs or purchase, nothing with our name to say that Mr X and Mrs X are covered for.....

Has anyone purchased insurance with Virgin? Is this the norm? or should I have received some sort of proof of purchase or certificate, showing names, of who is covered???

Hi spaced no dont worry I buy insurance from on line and all you have is the copy of policy including a phone number to ring if you need to get insurance for any reason. But I am sure you will not need it. Have a great holiday Barbados is a great place. enjoy.!
