Tyre pressures

Why don't AB print the tyre pressures for every make and model of every vehicle on the opening page of this category and 'How it Works?' After all, it must be easier to turn on your computer, wait for it to load, log on to the internet, go to Answerbank, select a category, type out the question, click submit, click to ignore the 'previous question' prompt and wait for an answer than it is to look in the manual...

I am definately with you on this one gazzawazza!! :) Its almost as bad as the amount of questions about that poxy Lynx advert!!

Agreed - do people not look in the glove compartment for the hand book or are these mysteriously disappearing. Incidentally, I've just realised that we should find a new name for the "glove" compartment now that people (apart from Alan Partridge types) don't wear driving gloves anymore.

I guess that most 'tyre pressure' questions are from those who shouldn't be driving in the first place. Do these people realise that 'cars' don't have tyre pressures. Only tyres have these which differ from car to car and are also dependant on load conditions. I suggest that all such questions should receive an automated reply such as "go to nearest tyre dealer for free advice". Similarly all 'Lynx' questions should receive an automated "who cares?"

If my front tyre pressures are 1.4bar, what's my vehicle? Can't be that many:-)

This one is easy Ralph. Look in the handbook, or centre front of the bonnet, or even on the boot, and you should find out what your vehicle is, assuming that it's not a bicycle or a wheelbarrow.
