In theory, yes ..... in reality, it's a complete waste of time ....just grab a t-shirt out of the wardrobe, lay it on the bed, and try to roll it neatly with no creases .....can't be done.

If you hang stuff up as soon as you get to your holiday destination, the creases will mostly fall out .... if in doubt, get a small travel iron, they don't take up much more room than a couple of pairs of socks....

I am on holiday at the moment and I have rolled all my t-shirts and tops, but I find trousers and shorts are better folded. It seems to be working quite well. Not perfect but but pretty good. I find it makes the packing easier also.

It doesn't work. Best way is to pack things with the least number of folds possible - that way you'll have the least number of creases. Lay items in a suitcase so's they take up the whole of the available room, folding only as necessary to fit inside. For a holdall with a stiffener, use the stiffener as a template, lay the clothes on it, and again fold them as little as possible to fit. With assistance, lift the lot as one and ease it into the bag.
My best tip is to use a beach-towel as a liner for a suitcase or holdall. Once you've got everything inside a case, fold the beach-towel tightly over the clothes, tucking it in and securing it firmly if your suitcase has those internal straps. With a holdall, lay the towel down and position all the clothes on top. Pick up the lot, and get them into the bag, then tuck the towel tightly over the clothes.
Using the beach-towel like thismeans your clothes stay tight and don't slop about in transit. You'll be surprised just how crease-free your stuff is on arrival by using this method.

Well, if they're rolled tightly, they could be mistaken for packs of drugs ...and you wouldn't want that ... unless you're smuggling drugs of course ...

that t-**** folding just puts creases in different places. It's just the way they're folded in the shop - and they always have creases!
Don't worry about packing - just take a travel iron. Or hang up in bathroom and leave shower on - will steam them and the creases will magically drop out.

i dont DO travel irons. and im only goin for 4 days. i dont have room. ill hang them in the bathroom tho, good idea
