Hi, it took me (by plane- lol) 5 hours out and 6 and half back (?)

LOL, how did that happen B00? It averages about 5 hrs from Manchester. I don't know if you can still buy your visa upon arrival at Luxor airport but if you can go for it, i saved a fiver on what my mates paid and it was a lot less hassle too! ( that was 15 years ago though, so a fiver was worth millions...;o)

Dunno jiggy, just way it happened, perhaps the pilot wanted to come home via the scenic route???

I recall seeing Paris lit up on the way back, it looked lovely and from that high up you couldn't smell the pee at all!
