Norwegian coastal voyage.
Has anyone done this journey recently? If so, what is the food like? We`re told that the evening meal is `set` with no choice, but that the breakfast and lunch are buffets. any info gratefully received.

Looks as though you can change the set menu if you ask during the day.

Hi Snowy Owl
Will post this in 2 sections cos it wont let me load full reply in one go...
We did it xmas/new year eighteen months ago.
The whole experience is brill.
Breakfast and luch is buffet and excellent, especially if you like fish as they have a huge fish platter - I'm veggie :-(
They are both open sittings so turn up when u like.

PART 2...
The evening meal is in 2 sittings (you book it on first day) Depending on how busy ship depends on how flexible they are with this (it was fairly quiet when we went and blooming cold too)
Meals are fixed (but choice of started and pud) but they post the menu up in the morning and as a veggie, I always asked for and got an excellent subsitute. Hubby sometimes asked for an alternative and they were always really helpful.
It really is a brilliant trip. Have fun
