Has anyone travelled to Prague? How was it? Has anyone happened to have stayed in the 'Hotel Elysee'?

I was in Prague for the World cup final!
My boyfriend took me away for my birthday it was fantastic, we stayed in the outskirts and walked in everyday it wasnt far at all
Apparently the New town is great for Stag nights but the old town is great for a romantic get away. Loads of markets and little lanes to explore and full of culture. Make sure you see Charles bridge and the stalls along it.
Also XXX was filmed here which my man thought was fab !!!!
Isnt as cheap as it was and we did spend a lot but it was worth every penny
I hope this helps...any questions let me know

me and my significant other had a fab time in Prague. Did all the tourist stuff like visiting the jews quarter, the charles bridge, astrological clock etc. there is loads to do, good underground system - clean cheap and quick. Airport is a bit far out from the centre taxi quite expensive but buses regular and good value. Wencelas Square was a bit of a disappointment - marks and spencer and C&A are there and there is a mcdonalds too (sigh!) food was great, bit pricy in the tourist areas, but otherwise good value. Don't pass up the chance to visit the sex museum - what a laugh!!! also there is an irish pub (think it's called che oshays) and an english bar called the dogs b0110cks. both good value and very friendly. the museum at the top of wencelas square was great - but you have to pay to get in.
hope you have a great time - we did
