Should be fine as long as you're back before the expiry date.....I flew three days before mine was up! The problem arises if you want to go to the USA - they demand 6 months 'left'!

OP will be fine.

And to correct the mininformation, the USA does not demand 6 months from UK passport holders - they just have to be valid there too. If the passport expires less than 90 days from the day you arrive, you will only be let in until it expires.

The procedure will vary with other passports - it will be 6 months for some..
