If you go from heathrow it takes knocks a few hours off, if you go direct or indirectly to florida it does take long. Im hoping to go to florida next year and from what i have seen the flights can be from 10-14 hours. I wanted to go from manchester but id rather fly to heathrow and break the time up a bit. You will get a good idea looking for a holiday online and checking the flights.
