Mr. James Beach, a plumber who lives three doors up from me, is absolutely stunning, and possibly the most beautiful beach, if not in this street, in the entire world. I would also like to state it is not me who has been stealing from his washing line.
I read previously that Pangkor Laut in the Philippines was the best beach in the world. But the hotel was opened by Pavarotti, and I can't think of many worse things than seeing Pavarotti in a pair of speedo's!!!
Laem Phra Nang in Thailand was about 7th best beach in the World.
Conde Nest magazine used to do a survery of best beaches, but can't currently find it on their website
I agree with Anse Source d'Argent on La Digue. This beach is in loads of calendars and photos. I visited this beach two years ago and it is very beautiful. Even that it is secluded - you will find loads of other tourists there - because it was named the most beautiful beach and everybody who visits La Digue wants to see it.
