I have entered a competition on lastminute and the idea is to list as many summer/travel tips as you can AND, the important bit, get as many people as possible to visit YOUR tips. I have no chance of winning - finishes tomorrow and I am only in about 10th place, but every little helps and may just move me up a little.

The sad thing is that at 42 I have only been abroad twice (once with my late mother, and it was more like a surreal nightmare than a relaxing break).

But I just can't resist entering competitions. The best prize I ever got was a big box of cat toys - my cat just looked at them with that conceited cat look and went off to hack up a hair ball. He is in pussycat heaven now - died of old age and not murdered by me, although I had been tempted a few times.
