Carry on luggage at Heathrow

In 4 weeks i am flying from Heathrow to San Francisco. Does anyone know if they will still be issuing clear bag for each passenger or can I just carry on a normal sized caryy-on bag. If they are what can / can't i take on board?

they do not issue clear plastic bags anymore,,

u r alowed to have 1 small piece of hand baggage.
and it has to fit into the gages that are around the airport if they do not fit then u have to check it in.

u can take in ur hand luggage electronic items like mobiles, laptops, ipods etc etc etc...

hope u have a good time in San Fran. it is a nice place to visit....
