Living abroad...no DEGREE!

I would love to live abroad,...somewhere hot,..but places like Australia and America you need loads of 'points' to get in,...How can I with no proper qualifications and at 28 years old move abroad and get a better life..? Please help...!

Assuming you are in the UK ten you are a member of the European Community you are free to live and work in another member state... you might want to try one of the French Caribbean islands, perhaps Martinique... in theory you can also claim the dole there [sorry job seekers allowance]

Well, you could do what everyone seems to do here, just go and claim asylum, youll be very well looked after , money , accomodation, health care, lawyers to fight your case etc etc and if you get turned down, well just disappear and live happily ever after. !!

As mentioned previously there is complete freedom of movement within member states of the EU/EEA. So, yes, that means you can pack your bags take a one way trip to Spain or Italy or wherever and just go and live there. However, you need to remember that there is usually lots of red tape to contend with - like getting the equivalent of a National Insurance number so you can work. The best bet is to approach the relevant Consulate for info. If you fancy expanding your horizons a bit further you could wait til next year - then you could go to Lithuania or Estonia or the Czech Rep.

how ignorant can you be?  maybe you could try living somewhere surrounded by misery and war. i dont believe for a moment that you would turn down a chance of a better quality of life.or a chance to live full stop. people who claim asylum do it for many reasons, obviously you have no idea, you should not judge. what sort of situation could one be in to decide to move away form family members and familiarity.

before making easy& bitter generalisations, why dont you just try to put yourself in the shoes of some asylum seekers. i believe it is impossible to do

there are many british people that have been claiming and are being 'very well looked after'. how many times are these criticised to the same extent. . what excuses do they have. but as you should rightly say:IT IS NO  ONE'S BUSINESS. we are all different, who are we to judge the way people run their lives.

at the end of the day, if you work hard, you should get the rewards you deserve. if you dont, you cant blame others for it.

i truly hope you give this prejudism some thought. life would be much more fulfilled if you did.
