I would like to go for a day out tommorow just me, to relax and think a bit. I want to go somewhere different, not too far away but not too close. I live near hatfield in hertfordshire so suppose could go to clacton. Id really like to go somewhere nice by the sea or a nice big park. If there are people who live in the south east area and have any ideas they would be gratefully recieved.

Hi Steve why not go to local train station and take a train to the end of the line, a lot of the South East trains end up at the coast. I always think travelling on a train for pleasure is so relaxing and a great place to think, listen to music and watch the world go by, heaven!

hum yes i love train travel...could go to king lyn or somthing!

thanks
sorry i thought you were the steve that is always whinging about having no job
Hi steve208, go up to the north Norfolk coast, maybe Thornham, there is a pub called The Lifeboat. If you want 'just me' then wander out towards the sea, you will find perfect peace.

The extra hour's drive will repay you richly.

steve208, bobtheturkey is the ultimate arbiter of truth and the popular consensus of all opinion on AB.

She used to be called 'bobtheduck' but who knows what went wrong with that username. She has a perfect life, unlike the rest of us. Try Thornham, you'll love it.

Why not go to Hatfield House and sit in the lovely gardens.
