would love to visit the beaches of utah omagha etc is it possable to walk on them etc and has there ever been a sighting of ghosts reported at the landings

It's quite easy to do it yourself (and a lot cheaper too) Just get the ferry to either Cherbourg or Le havre and follow the signs which are very clear.Avranche is a very pleasant town.Don't forget to visit Pegasus Bridge too.We're off there tomorrow with our motorhome so well genned up on it(I used to live in Spain and drove back and forth a couple of times a year so am well used to it)There are plenty of motels BnB's and hotels in all price ranges as well as campsites so no problems.Don't know about ghosts though but after a few glasses of the local brew who knows!
