Cubas electricity is 110 volts, 60Hz, but most hotels and resorts have 220 volts. Electrical outlets take flat plug prongs.
Dassie has basically answered the question but I'll add that it's only the newer hotels which have a 220V supply.

This website shows just how confused the situation is in Cuba. (Click on the letters for illustrations of the 5 different plugs which you might come across!):

Thanks, looks like I will need to take a multi-socket adaptor thing, and keep my fingers crossed that even if I find the right plug, it will have enough power to let me charge my ipod/straightners/recharge my camera batteries!

Thanks again.
Hope you're not flying with Air Cubana !
You really need to take both types as the hotels differ.
If you are going to the Cayos.............you are in for a treat! It's paradise!

We are flying with Cubana, are they really that bad Dassie, have you flown with them?
A few friends have flown with them and said they were fine. I am pretending to believe if my time is up, it's up, but I am a bit nervous.
