Hi everybody can you help? i want to go to the island of majorca next year and i would like to go to a resort that is more spanish than one i went to last time which was alcudia,it was too english.Now ive nothing against the english (i married one)i guess you know what i mean.any help wil be appreciated

I would say most if not all the resorts are that way, once a resort becomes popular then others copy it and before long they all look the same, just like our high street shopping, they lose their identity and all follow the trend. To find a real taste of Spain you have to go inland, try Inca on market day, or the village of Petta, Sineu or Muro.

i have just got back from majorca,i went to cala d'or.its very nice and i did'nt see one person wearing a england football shirt...lots of germans and spanish and english but very friendly...don't try the cocktail bars they don't put much alcohol in the drinks for 7.50 euros..the harbour area is nice but a little expensive.
